    Dear model submarine friends,

    first of all let me wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year 2024!

    Last October we had been invited to a ship model show by the local modeller club in Sulingen (that is a provincial town in Lower Saxony in northern Germny).
    The location had been the public swimming bath of the community and a lot of ship modellers shared this event.

    The weather had been fine so my elder grandson and me enjoyed this day very much.

    Whilst my grandson operated my submarine models I made some videos that I uploaded at youtube so you can see them on

    Hope you wil enjoy the video although it is not a "professional one"...

    Hi Klaus-Dieter,

    Very nice to hear from you again and such an interesting video taken in a clever "L" shaped swimming pool.

    It was also good to see Helmut's subs operating so well.

    The aluminium finish was rather surprising in that it was difficult to see underwater. Maybe silvery fish know a thing or two!
