Making an 'O' ring Empty Making an 'O' ring

Post  Resolution Rog Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:29 pm

I am making 'O' rings for end caps for WTC's. the dia of the end cap is approx 100mm. I am using 3mm 'O' ring material and remember that it's 3xdia + dia of ring (3mm in this case) Question is when calculating the main dia, is it the dia of the end cap where it fits into the tube, or the dia at the base of the grove? thanks Roger
