New member, by way of introduction this is my latest project. Long time ago converted to a piston tank, but never really successful. Wanted geared motors and tank to fill from forward so that it dived at better angle.
Cad has been my day job so started long process of drawing parts and getting them laser cut.

This has been an on / off project....but finally finished:

Taking a different work direction into computer fabrication has meant I've now bought a co2 laser ....which has sped it up to completion.
As pix show, parts are cut from 3mm acrylic and laminated.....now I'd probably 3d print some instead.
Motors changed to 12v to keep amps down. Probably should have gone brushless for both drive and tank motors. The tank is slightly assymetrical to get clearance, replacement with a smaller motor could have avoided this.
So....next is to retrim.
