I need to make two water inlet grilles for the Dragonfish, as in the pic below...any ideas to how to do it?

They need to be 10mm in diameter...perishing small, I know, I can hardly see the things. Or even better still, does anyone know of a commercially available item which may do the trick?

This is me you're talking to, Andy...I can just about solder two wires together.

But I may have found a solution...inline fuel filters for ic engines have very fine wire mesh inside them, so I've bought two of these to dismantle and to use.

Thanks to input from Mark(MMB)and Nigel, I have a solution...

A simple jig made from a piece of ply...lay a tinned brass washer on the wood, tap some pins in at the correct places and stretch 5amp fuse wire across the pins, over the washer and simply touch with a soldering iron and trim to size.

    Thanks guys!
