I've just had notification from Trevor G about this year's Alfold show. The following link gives you an idea of what goes on:

Probably less well attended by model submariners in recent years and we no longer book a stand there.
(For AMS members we moved the AGM to Norwich and this had an effect) but I know that Alf has been going to it for the last couple of years.
It is not the easiest pond for model submariners but it is a very good model boat show, a weekend event , you can camp, there is a barbecue on the Saturday night and you are supporting a great charity for Seamen. (I have very happy memories of it but Surrey is a long way from Cumbria and Norwich and Birmingham beckon!)
If you are interested in going I suggest that you indicate your interest on here and pm me for the entrance forms (you need those if you want to book camping or the barbecue.)
