    When Jonathan introduced the topic of SDR (Software Defined Radio ) in the UHF radio control thread - he said "just remember that you will kiss good bye to a few hours of your life if you read any further :)"

    multiple antennas on a sub could be a challenge, anybody tried GPS underwater?
    It works to a degree, as I did once work on a system whose GPS Rx was aslo used by divers. As a result we had to copy the warnings about disconnected antennas underwater leading to disorentation & death into the manaul for a 6 wheel truck based system! OTT or what.
