Rob F has just confirmed the dates for these as Sunday 15th May and Sunday 18th Sept 2016.

Many thanks for arranging these very popular events again at the superb Bournville MBC.

So this year there are two, one day events both on a Sunday rather than a Saturday as before. This link (with several more in the photos of the shows section) shows you what to expect:

Birmingham is very centrally located, has lots to offer "other-halves". (Just walk up the hill to the Bristol road for buses straight to the city centre.) The May event neatly fills a gap early in the season.

Hooper has asked what time these events start.

Well I have only been to the spring ones so far, but people are usually gathering from about 9am.

I think 10am is probably the official start but always best to contact the organizer Rob Fowler for any more detail.

(I have sent you his email by pm to avoid Rob getting spammed!)

    Really good videos, Tim.

(I was impressed by the subs but the water fleas and (Tom's?) legs were something else?)

    Thanks for posting!

Very nice. It was enjoyable to see the pair of Typhoons running next to each other.

Thanks for the shots of me Jap sub, its amazing to see how the counter rotating props look under water.
Its better than I could ever imagined when it was being conceived. Also some great realistic views of the nautilus.
