Are Futaba f16 still going to be available? Empty Are Futaba f16 still going to be available?

I was looking for a new 40Mhz radio and found this:

Please be aware that Robbe Gmbh have gone into Liquidation so the Radios are temp unavailable .
But As the Radios are Made by Futaba they have been given to Futabe Europe and will be back in the next month or two so if you still want to get one please be prepared to wait a few weeks .

I hope this is 100% accurate or I am in trouble. Does anyone know more about the liquidation?

Yes that's quite right, robbe radios are futaba, futaba have awarded the robbe contract to ripmax plc who are the main supplier of futaba equipment,Ripmax have there own group of shops as many of you will be aware Hobby Stores.

    Thank you Nigele

That clears things up very well at least there is one source of 40mhz sets.
I have been away from the hobby for some time and everywhere I go I am finding things in a bad state. Not sure what has happened buy I have the distinct feeling the hobby is very ill (If not at deaths door). I hope I am wrong but that is the impression I get. Good to see people like yourself keeping the forum going.

    Kind regards
    Bernie
