Graupner have just issued a new ARTR model in their Premium range, a Type V11 U boat.

Information is HERE It's a lovely looking model, but there's just one downfall...it costs almost £900. A lot of cash in these times...

If it is anything like their surface ships, it will be worth the king's ransom. Most of the work has been completed, too. This might be a very good first project for the beginner.
I would like to see the inside of the hull. There is no ballast system so full speed ahead for submerging!
    Kind regards,
    Giovanni

So Premium Range presumably refers to the price!

It does seem a lot for a sub with no dive system. At least it is GRP not plastic so it may survive a drop.

It must be much better and cheaper for a beginner to go for a plastic kit conversion, I would have thought. (Though I've never built one.)

But I'm sure Graupner have done their homework.
