Re: type 214 "ΠΑΠΑΝΙΚΟΛΗΣ"
Congratulations for your nice model, it looks very authentic with its fine detailing and due to the photographs it performs obviously good. A real good work, especially when considering that it's built from scratch.
Wish I had also such a fine pool here...
Kind regards
Hermann

Re: type 214 "ΠΑΠΑΝΙΚΟΛΗΣ"
Hello Yannis,
I really admire modellers like you who face the challenge and build their models from scratch. May be that's the old fashioned way of modelling but it gives you most satisfaction when your model operates reliable and performs as you have wished (I am only a little younger than you (56) and enjoy it most designing and building my models by myself. I've build a class 206A and a class 212A model (scale of the 212A is 1:43 giving 1,30m length).
Kind regards
Hermann

Re: type 214 "ΠΑΠΑΝΙΚΟΛΗΣ"
Yes,it is very good that people are still scratch building. Otherwise a lot of more obscure/ less popular submarine types would never again see the light of day.
