Thanks to Nigel, Andrew and David for posting the pics from Edinburgh and Norwich shows, it's great for those of us who couldn't get there to see all those beautiful boats.
I will add that I'm very disappointed to see dozens of pictures from Norwich on Facebook though...there's a few on the AMS page, but they are mainly on the Dive In page. And of those pictures, a fair amount were posted by AMS members!
I fail to understand the logic behind this...AMS members should support the AMS, surely? Or am I missing something somewhere? By all means share your pictures on the Dive In page, post them where you like, but please post them on the AMS page or the forum (preferably both) first, so your fellow members can see them. Not all of the AMS membership visit the Dive In page for various reasons, so a lot of them are missing out on seeing these pictures.
I'm told that a few people can't post pictures on the forum...that's rubbish. Take a look HERE, it's ever so easy to understand how to do it. If you still have problems, then either pm or email me and I'll do my best to assist you.
If you post images on Facebook, they will eventually disappear off down to the bottom of the page, and visitors will have to spend ages trying to track them down. Post them on the forum, and there will stay, exactly where you posted them, in full view for all those who wish to see them.
I will add that I'm not trying to start another war between the AMS and the Dive In supporters, there's been more than enough of that in recent times. In my mind, that should all be put to bed and forgotten about, we all share the same part of the modelling hobby, so let's all enjoy it together.
Rant over...
