As many of you will be aware the events secretary and the club secretary has been a joint post,
for practical reasons it is proposed to seperate the two posts to allow the events secretary to concentrate solely on the organisation of events.

It is also proposed to create a new joint post of club secretary/web master, again this is for practical reasons, these days most general enquiries come from the web site, and it has now become important that the web master can act on behalf of the committee and is party to committee decisions and controls.

Sadly Roger finds himself unable to stand for the post of Events secretary this year, and I would like to thank him for all his efforts on the association's behalf.

This will leave the post of Events Secretary vacant...GUY'S, THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ROLE. PLEASE HELP IF YOU FEEL YOU CAN,PLEASE APPLY AT THE AGM OR DROP ME A MAIL.

Hope to see as many of you as posible at Alfold on Saturday.

    Regards,

    Nigel.
