(I have copied this post across to this section on behalf of Paul Reilly. And Paul, when last I looked you can get "pulls" of the original Darnell moulds from Mountfleet Models. Adam is the sub enthusiast there.)
Hello everyone
I'm new to modelling submarines and am in the process of rebuilding a Darnell T-Class boat that I managed to get.
It has inspired me to build a U-Class but am having trouble sourcing a suitable kit in large scale (I want her to be R/C) of either 1/48 or 1/32, or in between.
I have a 3D printer and would be happy to try to make one from this medium, or if an old Darnell kit were available that someone would sell?
Thanks
Paul
