Scott Terrey down in Australia and I have collaborated on a few 1/96 scale projects. Most recent project is a kit of the Russian NOVEMBER class attack submarine. Scott's doing the hull and sail. I'm doing the propellers, bow planes, masts and items needed to adapt the parts to r/c use.

    David,
Where do you get the wax for your molding?
Lots of great info in your photos!
    Thank you for sharing.
    Peace,
    Tom

    David,
I am sorry I said wax when I meant clay. The green clay you use, where do you get that?
    Peace,
    Tom

I use most of my clay as master backing while making GRP or rubber tools. As the Platinum cured silicon tool making rubber I use has an aversion to any sulfur bearing material I avoid earthen clay and use the oil based 'children's clay', generically described as, 'plasticine'.
