    WTC Material Empty WTC Material

Post  JuanGg Thu May 11, 2017 7:06 pm

After building two rc subamrines, one mostly out of wood and other entirely 3d printed, I am planing to build a proper wtc with a clear tube and 3d printed end caps. It will be a piston tank system similar to the ones from R & R model engineering.

The thing is that my local plastics suplier has three materials, acrylic/methacrylate, policarbonate, and clear pvc. They cut acrilic and clear pvc to any length, but with policarbonate you must buy at least 2 meters.

Does someone know wich material is better for a wtc and any place to get them cheap online?

    The measures I need are:  >  90mm diameter   500mm length   3mm thickness

                                        >  60mm diameter   500mm lenght   3mm thickness

    Polycarbonate (Lexan).
