    I had a phone call today from John. He has had major surgery with some complications but is now on the mend and is taking long walks (but not cycling yet!

    Best wishes for a full recovery.

    Thanks very much for get well wishes i ended up having a triple heart bypass and 6 weeks later i had 4.5 liters of fluid in my chest cavity which had to be drained out,which is not the nicest things to have done but i do feel a lot better now
