Another Neptune modification

My Neptune now has had some work done on the dive 'planes...the front 'planes are now on the stern and I've fitted a pair of Robbe U-47 rudders as foreplanes.

She's now much more responsive to the 'planes and holds a level attitude when submerged a lot better.

And here's a full length pic of the Neptune with all the external modifications...next little job is to remove the exterior panelling and respray the whole boat.

The yellow finish is highly visible, but the boat still retains it's toy like looks, so the plan is to completely respray the whole boat in a silk finish black overall. Another job for winter months...

Another addition to the Neptune has been that of a pilot figure and a cabin.

These three pictures show George the pilot checking out his nice new cabin...the painters will be called in during the week to complete the work.
