    An interesting (and slightly scary for Brits anyway!) article in the April 2017 issue of Marine Modelling International magazine.

    Apparently some 7 or 8 U boats called in near Ilfracombe in 1941 mainly for water replenishment. (Much safer to do this than head back to their bases in France.)
