    Hello Shipmates Empty Hello Shipmates

Post  torpedochief Wed Feb 25, 2015 4:53 pm

    Hello Shipmates!

Bit about myself   I served 22 years on US NAVY Attack submarines including USS RAY SSN 653,  USS MIAMI SSN 755, USS DALLAS SSN 700, and retired from USS SPRINGFIELD SSN 761.  I am a Torpedoman by trade. I am a technician on MK 48 ADCAP, HARPOON UGM 84A2, Tomahawk UGM-109 A2,B2,C2.

I have built both RC and Static models for 30 years. I have built for 3 Presidents, 1 Sec of State, 4 Sec of Defense, 11 Governors, and about Heck I don't even know collectors.  Oh and the Crown Prince of Bavaria, at least that is what they said he was.  I don't think that have a Crown Prince, oh well they paid for it.

I am the author of the submarine novels OF ICE AND STEEL, EPITAPH, STORM FRONT, THE BAY, and TIGER!.
The novels will soon be a Mini-series produced by Aventine Hill Films for some channel like A&E.

I also do scale RC Tanks, wooden sailing ships, scrimshaw, watercolor, carving....but I can't dance worth a crap.

Looking forward to learning what has been up since I last did an RC boat.

    Thanks for having me!

    ALL STATIONS CONN, GOING DEEP!

    Chief

    Hi again.

I thought your initial introduction sounded familiar Don.

Just re-read your "French Lesson"  from tales from the torpedo room

My sides are still sore with laughing.....
