David Jacques reminded me that we had seen a model of this sub on Norbert's stand at Dortmund in 2012. I emailed Norbert and received this very prompt and helpful reply with drawing and photos of the "concept" sub in trials and one built by a German modeller.

    to me

    Hello

Yes, I built a small test model of the CB class. Mostly to see how this strange form behaves in the water. I have to say: astonishingly well. But the project has been on the shelf since then.
It is still on my „models to build“ list, but I did not find the time yet. Maybe this summer, as we all have more private time than expected.
Scale 1:15 is my choice. That will be 1m long and 10kg dispalcement. And it fits under my CNC-router.

    mit freundlichen Grüßen
    Norbert Brüggen "

The plastic kit I ordered from Poland has arrived. I don't intend to build it (or put a WTC in it!) just for reference. I wonder if Norbert will decide to offer these hulls for an interesting submarine?
