Re: willie u-bqat
Now that's interesting, Willie...many years ago I built U-441 (U-Flak 1), one of the Flak Trap boats,
I'd love to build another one, but it's always those flood slots that have put me off doing so...my hands and fingers would'nt allow me to open that lot up. The deck would'nt be too bad, just cut it out and plank it with wood look styrene strip.
Hmm...maybe a Christmas present to myself? Hmm...

Gawd...nearly £350. The word ''ouch'' springs to mind.

I always use Land Rover screenwash pumps, six quid from eBay, you can't bet them.

Hi Willte,
Is that a red water pump I see?
There is quite lot on them (and their problems!) on this forum (including long term test.)

Re: willie u-bqat
I don't think it's an 'orange' water pump, David, I lifted this from the advert for the Krick boat : it shows a black pump in the kit parts photo.

Re: willie u-bqat
the pump has a blue sticker on it you just see it in the forward compartment the red is the receiver battery as i said new pump £16-99p from Cornwall models after buying it I found cheaper ones the main battery is 12 volts I kept the batteries apart for better draft and balance, the pump that came with the model was the sealed type after I got the new one I open the old one to see what was wrong because it's body is rivet to geather I change the rivets to bolts fixed the gear now have spare pump, but the one in the photo looks bolted
