Not much I can help with on getting plans, sorry. So you are going to build some static ones first in 300 then 144th scale? Excellent.that will certainly get you familiar with your sub. Have you thought of a scale for your working model? From what I know of the X-1 and the K-class submarines, there is a lot of deck and superstructure that needs to get hoisted out of the water (especially the X-1). That will be a challenge, but I do not think impossible.other than plans, let us know how we can help.
Thinking about the plans, if no one has a set, spend the money and get a good set of plans. If that is too much money, and I can understand that, consider a different sub to start out on. In the US, things for the workings on the inside of the sub, seem to add up quickly.

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
