I'm about to commence the next step with the Neptune...the fitting of an external forward mounted guard rail, similar to that in the picture.
Any advice on the material to use? Would plastic tube be strong enough, or would alloy tube be better?
What diameter would be best....15mm?
And would it be an idea to have a series of holes drilled in the tube to make it free flooding? Or would that weaken the tube too much, bearing in mind that I'll be mounting LED floodlamps on the tube?
