    Latest AMS magazine

    Post  Tom(ADMIN) on Mon Oct 17, 2011 3:48 pm

Having read my copy of the latest AMS magazine from cover to cover, I'd just to say a big 'Thank You' to Brian Alps for putting together a superb read...although I didn't understand a lot of the more technical electronical stuff!

One more thing...I think we ought to say a huge 'Thank You' to Ian Oldham. That man seems to travel the length and breadth of the country to all the various shows, and always comes up with a really good report on them. I dread to think what his petrol bills are!

So, anyone who happens to see Ian in the near future, would they please pass on my grateful thanks to him for all his hard work and the amount of travelling he does on our behalf.

Fascinating issue - well done Brian. The article by Harry Brash on magnetic couplings is very interesting - I only wish I'd had more time at Edinburgh to investigate his system more closely.
