    Here are a couple of links showing recent 3D sonar images of K4 & K17 lying within 100 metres of each other off May Island in the Forth.

    The second link (a diving video) includes footage taken on board a 'K' class.

    Very interesting accounts. When I was on the beach at North Berwick I couldn't help but think what was out there around May Island.

    The early film footage of the K's was also very interesting. Zipping along so close to the sea (and so wet!) could only be likened to being in a modern RIB inflateable. All those engine room ventilators in the dive video also show the basic weakness of the K class,
