Another superb day thanks to Rob and Bournville MBC!
Thanks to everyone who took part.

I will post my photos up in time order and I will try to edit some description in later but please comment away.

In summary a really good day, nice weather, no subs lost (permanently!), an international presence and great hospitality. Thanks!

This is "Freek" (thanks for the info Bart) with his lovely little plank on frame model of his Holland from Holland (if you see what I mean.) It is the Royal Dutch Navies first submarine built by Mr Holland. Freek and his wife were the International visitors of the day.

Rob's Resolution class. Apparently this was the original "proof of concept" boat by Ron and Rob's Dad.

Wonderful pictures......I see Freek was there to with his Hr Ms K-XVIII & Hr Ms O-1 built completely out of wood. I like his different approach on things.
We should ask him to post his build log here.

I currently must live through others photos and experiences. These really make me want to be there. What an excellent day! Great subs and fun fellowship!

    Thanks both!

I have added some comments to help work out what was happening.

Bart thanks for identifying Freek. I didn't get much chance to talk with him or get his name (These events are busy, busy busy.) I hope the made the late night Ferry OK.

    Hi Dave,
I have great memories of this day in Bourville, and talking to some German sub builders from the group called Sonar, they asked if I could write a brief report on my may 2015 visit to Bournville. However I was so busy sailing that I did not take many pictures. Could some of your pictures be used for Sonars printed magazine? Would have to be hi-resolution.
