A result of a loft clear out to see about improving our home insulation.
They perhaps show the necessity of making female moulds.
They are now hovering between heaven and skip!

    No C I'm afraid.

There is an E class and a Holland but I am still working out where to store them now and they are not available/suitable for sale anyway.
(I do have a venerable Holland hull which was much improved by Nigel but actually goes back into the "mists of AMS time!) which could go to a good home. )

One of the many good things about sub events re-appearing is the chance for things to change hands!

    Hi David

Would the Holland be my original moulds? I gave them to Nigel to see if he could take a hull from them that would have been some time back in the mid 1990's.

Yes, they must be yours! Can you give any more details? Many thanks for adding them to the "community of model submariners."
Nigel wrote up a piece in the AMS magazine about them, as I recall. I modified the original to have a "center-parting" to help fit things in!
And sorry I didn't reply earlier Tim - I didn't spot your post. I would be very happy to let you have the original hull for "nowt" as we say here but the vagaries and cost of global logistics nowadays are a bit tricky! (I am not very proud of the original moulds I made and 3D printing has just got be the future.)

I feel i may have been misunderstood, i was merely wanting to know more info on the details... i am curious because i actually have a Holland of my own... 1/32 scale version of "HMS Holland 1", which i believe currently resides in a museum somewhere in your general vicinity. and i agree, if i were to scratch build something new, i would start my search on the many 3d file sites that seem to be everywhere nowadays.

This makes me feel better about my surface finish! (1930's riveted plate construction by Vickers of Barrow.)
