just need to tweek the water line with some Blue foam

funny combination this one an old Eden tube with an OTW hull wrapped around seems to work well together the tube is a bit different in the fact that it has two humps on the top of the ballast tank.

Refurb of an old Type VIIc Empty Brass conning tower

    Hi there

A spare brass deck and conning tower sounds just the thing for a diorama.

    Your next project perhaps?

Brass deck is still on the sub John as to the Tower I striped that back by un-soldering it so as to have a pattern to work from as I didn't have any plans I used the internet and took bits and pieces from other peoples pictures as to doing a diorama not my scene (lol) couldn`t match the quality of some that I have seen

    Regards Mark.

The type 7 took a turn for the worst last weekend when the front seal failed flooding the tube with dirty dirty lake water
a quick call to Mr. Sheerline and all is well again all electrics saved and working again will be testing her out again soon

    Regards Mark
