Thank you Nigel for uploading all those.
Many thanks on behalf of everyone who attended, to Rob F and everyone at Bourneville Model Boat Club for organising a great sub day at what is , in many ways, where r/c subs really got going in the UK back in the 70's and 80's.
The photos give the flavour of a good day but a very nice venue and facilities, nice submarine folk and a supportive club are behind it all.
Let's hope they decide to do it again next year.

Bournville will be hosting another Sub day on the same weekend next year. I am also in the process of organising another in May. Thanks to all that attended and to those that could not you'll have two bites of the cherry next year.

Hi Rob,
Very good news!
It was a very good event for the model sub fraternity last year and now another one scheduled for May! (Spring has been a bit"sparse" for submarine events recently.) Speaking personally, I enjoyed visiting what must be the "Mother Club" for model subs in the UK.
I will email you anyway but do let us know when you get definite dates and we will put them up.
Thanks again to you and Bourneville MBC.
David
