water tight seal for motor shaft

Post  willte on Sun Feb 16, 2014 7:19 pm

I have been thinking of a water tight seal for a jp 400 motor which has brass bushes using silicon tube as a coupling and fitting a eyelet or similar to the front of the motor with the silicon giving it a bit of tension. similar to a type of water pump seal, any comments on this will be welcome
